Membership is open to all Interior Design Companies /Corporation,
Partnership Companies and Sole-Proprietorship Companies incorporated in Malaysia and subject to the following Terms and Conditions stated herein:
Principal/Owner has minimum Certificate qualification and has been in practice for a minimum of two (2) years
Or,
Principal/Owner has no paper qualification but has been in practice for a minimum of five (5) years and above

Membership is open to all Malaysian individuals who are 18 years and above, irrespective of sex and races.
Requirement as below:
Class 1
• Minimum qualification Diploma, Degree and above
Class 2
• Minimum qualification Certificate with 2 years of working experience

Membership is open to all Malaysian Interior Design Students / architectural students who are 18 years and above, in their final year of study, irrespective of sex and races,
Provision as below:
College or University student shall only be admitted as a member of the Society provided, he or she has obtained a prior written permission from the College/ University concerned.

Membership is open to all Corporation/ Companies, Partnership Companies and Sole-Proprietorship Companies registered and incorporated in Malaysia and Overseas (subject to term and condition) who are trading or providing services (artist, media, photographer, event planner, etc) which are not directly related but support and enhance the Interior Design industry.
